Flights from St. Petersburg, Russia, to Turkey’s Istanbul, Antalya, Dalaman, and Bodrum will be increased during the summer holiday season. According to the Russian Association of Tour Operators (ATOR), there will be a significant rise in the number of flights to Turkey this summer, with the number of airlines operating these routes increasing to seven.
Weekly Flight Frequency to Turkey Increases
With the tourism season starting in May, the number of weekly flights to Turkey is expected to reach 120. During the peak season, this figure will rise to 142. Istanbul will serve as a key transit hub for passengers arriving from other countries. Antalya will be served by five different airlines, operating a total of 84 weekly flights. Meanwhile, Turkish Airlines (THY) will operate four weekly flights to Dalaman and Bodrum.
Flights to Istanbul and Airlines
The number of weekly flights to Istanbul will be 49. Turkish Airlines (THY) and Rossiya Airlines will fly to Istanbul Airport, while Pegasus and AJet will operate flights to Sabiha Gökçen Airport. This year, Pegasus and AJet are expected to significantly increase their flight frequencies. Additionally, AJet will offer an extensive flight network, covering both domestic routes within Turkey and major European cities.
Flights from St. Petersburg to Dalaman and Bodrum with a layover in Istanbul will be available at more affordable prices than direct flights.
