India’s leading aviation maintenance and engineering company, AI Engineering Services Limited (AIESL), has announced the establishment of a new aircraft maintenance and technical support partnership with Corendon Airlines.
Under the agreement, AIESL will provide Corendon Airlines’ fleet with comprehensive MRO (Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul) services, including scheduled maintenance, component support, and technical assistance.
A New Era in Fleet Efficiency
Antalya-based Corendon Airlines operates a broad flight network across Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa.
The collaboration with AIESL will enable the airline to gain flexibility in its maintenance processes and optimise fleet operations.
The Corendon Airlines fleet consists of:
- 10 Boeing 737-800 aircraft,
- 6 Boeing 737-8 aircraft,
- 2 Airbus A320-200 aircraft.
AIESL’s Global Expansion Move
Formerly the maintenance arm of Air India, AIESL continues its growth strategy through international partnerships despite regulatory delays in the privatisation process.
Recently, the company has expanded its certification scope and signed agreements with new clients.
In March 2025, AIESL signed a contract with Kuwait Airways for comprehensive maintenance checks on the airline’s seven Boeing 777 aircraft.
Additionally, the company expanded its European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part 145 approval to cover A320 and 737 base maintenance activities at its Trivandrum facility.
