A notable change has taken place in the partnership structure of TAV Airports. Paris-based international airport operator Aéroports de Paris SA (ADP) has converted its indirect stake in the company into direct shareholding.
In a statement made by ADP to the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), it was announced that the merger process with its subsidiary Tank ÖWA alpha GmbH has been completed.
The 46.12% Stake Transferred Directly to ADP
Following the said merger, the 46.12% stake in TAV Airports, which had previously been held indirectly through Tank ÖWA alpha GmbH, has now passed directly into ADP’s ownership. As a result, ADP has further strengthened its position as one of the largest shareholders in TAV Airports.
No Changes in Management and Operations
In the statement, it was emphasised that this transaction constitutes a technical transformation in the shareholding structure, and it was noted that no changes are envisaged in the management structure or operational activities of TAV Airports.
Experts assess that this move clarifies ADP’s strategic partnership position in TAV Airports and increases transparency in terms of corporate structure.
TAV Airports holds a significant position as a global airport operator with airports it operates primarily in Türkiye, as well as in the Middle East, Europe, Central Asia and Africa.
