Aeroflot Increases Pilot Salaries by 30%

Russian airline Aeroflot has implemented a 30% increase in pilot salaries. According to the company’s statement, the salary hike took effect as of October 1.

With the new regulations signed in July, Aeroflot raised the variable components of pilot salaries based on flight hours. Under this arrangement, the salaries of captains and first officers on wide-body aircraft were readjusted according to specific flight hour ranges.

According to the new salary table, a captain with 70 flight hours on wide-body aircraft will earn 624,000 rubles (approximately 220,000 TL), while a first officer will receive 407,000 rubles. When flight hours increase to 85, the captain’s salary will rise to 820,000 rubles (around 290,000 TL), and the first officer’s salary will increase to 530,000 rubles.

On narrow-body aircraft, a captain with 85 flight hours will earn 707,000 rubles, while a first officer will earn 357,000 rubles.

It was noted that Aeroflot’s 2024 revenue had increased by over 47% compared to the previous year.
