The visit is led by NANTA President Yinka Folami and includes senior executive board members of the association. During meetings with Turkish Airlines executives, the delegation will focus on flight strategies, collaborations, and new opportunities specifically targeting Nigerian passengers.

“Strong strategies are being discussed to make Turkish Airlines the number one choice for Nigerian travellers.”

NANTA’s Initiative for New Revenue Models with THY

According to a statement by NANTA’s media consultancy, the business meetings will not be limited to Turkish Airlines but will also involve representatives from Turkey’s travel and tourism trade.

These engagements are expected to offer new income opportunities for NANTA members, agency-based partnerships, and collaborations with Asia-based airlines.

Key Topics on the Agenda

  • Special agreements and revenue-sharing models for NANTA members

  • New route proposals connecting Asia and Europe

  • Mutual training programmes, knowledge exchange, and tourism promotion activities

A New Era in Aviation Between the Two Countries?

This visit is seen as more than just an airline-focused business meeting; it stands as a concrete indicator of the growing commercial and tourism ties between Turkey and Nigeria.
