Direct charter flights from Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan, to Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport, one of Turkey’s top tourism hubs, are set to begin. Operated by FlyArystan, the inaugural flight will take place on 28 May 2025.
This new air connection aims to strengthen tourism, trade, and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Turkey. Designed to meet the increasing demand during the summer season, the route will bring the popular Mediterranean destination of Alanya closer to the Central Asian market.
Special Welcome Ceremony for the First Flight
A special ceremony will be held on Tuesday, 28 May at Gazipaşa-Alanya Airport to mark the arrival of the first flight. The event will be attended by Kazakhstan’s Ambassador to Ankara, Yerkebulan Sapiyev, the Consul General in Antalya, Kuat Kanafeyev, representatives of the tourism sector, and officials from FlyArystan.
A New Bridge of Brotherhood and Economic Cooperation
The new flights are expected to further strengthen the friendly ties between the two countries. As one of Turkey’s major tourism destinations, Alanya will become more accessible to Kazakh tourists, providing a significant boost to the region’s tourism sector.
Thanks to FlyArystan’s new route, travel from Astana to Alanya will be both shorter and more economical. The flights are scheduled to operate weekly throughout the summer season.
