Turkish Airlines (THY) and its subsidiary AJet are preparing to establish a major air bridge to the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) as part of the “ADA KIBRIS” project, which aims to position the TRNC prominently in global tourism. THY Chairman of the Board, Ahmet Bolat, described the project as a significant move.
Emphasis on TRNC as a Tourism Brand
Ahmet Bolat stated that THY and its subsidiary AJet fully support the “ADA KIBRIS” project, launched to strengthen the TRNC’s position in the global tourism market. He made the following remarks:
“It is a source of pride for us to be one of the key players in this important project that will elevate the ‘Motherland’s Little Sibling’ to a different standing.
The air bridge we will establish to the island will play a crucial role in repositioning the TRNC as a tourism brand.”
Project Launch in the TRNC on July 7
Bolat announced that the first step of the project will be taken on Monday, July 7, with a large delegation traveling to the TRNC for the event.
Saying “Best wishes for ADA KIBRIS in advance,” Bolat emphasized that this project will not only add value to the TRNC from an aviation perspective but will also contribute to tourism and economic development.
